- All the users entering the library must keep their bags and other belongings at the entrance.
- Bags, Umbrella, Personal Books and other items are not allowed inside the library.
- Identity Card is compulsory for getting access to the library.
- Students must issue both reading card and lending card.
- Students of B.A.LL.B. can issue two books at a time for a period of 15 days. Students of LL.M. can issue four books at a time for a period of 30 days. Failure to return the books at the expiry of respective term shall attract fine of Rs. 5/day till return of the said books.
- Students on receiving the books should check their physical condition, as they are held responsible for any damage found later.
- Silence should be strictly maintained in the library.
- Students must not use mobile phones and other devices inside the library or in the vicinity as it is likely to cause disturbance.
- Misbehaviour in the library is strictly prohibited.
- Users are requested to co-operate in maintaining conducive atmosphere to study.
- The users are directed to check the book at the time of issuing. In case of any defect or damage please inform the library staff.
- The library books/journals are not to be spoilt with an underlining, or scribbling on pages. Defaulters shall be liable to replace the books/journals.
- Students are advised not to give books to others on their names.
- Beverages and Eatables are not allowed inside the library.
- Library reserves the right to call back any issued book/item at any time.
- Periodicals, Dictionary, Project Reports, Dissertations, Reference sources are to be referred in the library reading room only.
- Loss of books, if any, should be reported to the librarian immediately and it should be replaced with a new copy.
