A Green Campus is one where ecological responsibility is instilled in the institution to redefine a development paradigm that merges academic goals with environmental stewardship. Keeping in mind the goal of achieving a green campus, Surendranath Law College is constantly working towards moulding students to become environmentally conscious graduates. The task is undoubtedly a daunting one keeping in mind that Surendranath Law College is an urban college located in the bustling vicinity of the Sealdah Railway Station where it is challenging to strictly fulfil the desired standards of green policy initiatives. However, within its limited resources, the College has adopted the Green Policy to initiate several measures make a meaningful impact towards the crusade of creating an environmentally healthy space.
The Green Policy of Surendranath Law College has been framed to facilitate a positive change in the cleanliness standards, and to particularly increase sensitisation in the campus and its vicinity for awareness building towards the conservation of the larger eco-system.
