The Cultural Club of Surendranath Law College organises and manages cultural events. The Guiding Motive of the Club is to Honour and Celebrate Culture and Cultural Diversity among students and staff and to instill a Spirit of Oneness and Strength.

The Cultural Club of Surendranath Law College encourages student’s interest and participation by providing them a unique platform to express their talent where they can celebrate the diverse and rich culture of India through dance forms, music, singing and theatrics.

Despite the Busy Academic Schedule, the Cultural Club mobilises students to participate in these cultural events to discover and boost various talents. The Club provides inspiration and opportunity to students to work on individual and group activities and participate in a wide spectrum of events. These cultural fests coordinate with the pool talent among students and make curricular and extra- curricular events a useful, fulfilling and enriching platform for all participants. It provides students an opportunity to demonstrate and develop talent, confidence, leadership, collaboration, self-discipline, time-management and teamwork.

ROLE AND DUTIES OF THE CULTURAL CLUB

• To organise co-curricular activities on a regular basis so that the hidden talents of the students can be identified and polished.
• To enhance the skills of the students and allow them to express themselves, while at the same time enlighten their peers.
• To train students to be competitive at the district and state level so that they can demonstrate their skills on bigger platforms.
• To develop the overall personality of students, by providing opportunities to share their imaginations and talents.
• To encourage students to participate in various festivals and cultural events of different colleges and to widen networks.

• To prepare the yearly schedule of the programmes to be held in each semester at the beginning of the academic session and submit the same to the undersigned within 30th April.
• To submit the report of the programmes within 15 days after completion of the programme.
• To organize a minimum of two programmes at the intra and inter college level in each semester.
• To organize cultural programmes on important dates of National and Global significance.
