"Mindificent" - is a vibrant and thought-provoking college magazine of Surendranath Law College. The name "Mindificent" is a unique blend of two powerful words: 'mind' and 'magnificent,' embodying the intellectual brilliance and creative splendour that our college community stands for. Surendranath Law College believes in fostering a holistic educational environment that goes beyond textbooks and classrooms. "Mindificent" serves as a testament to this philosophy, offering a platform for our students, faculty, and alumni to showcase their literary prowess, critical thinking, and artistic talents. ROLE AND DUTIES OF THE MAGAZINE COMMITTEE

To ensure that mission and vision of the college is reflected in the issues of the magazines published which would serve as an inspiration to future contributors.
To foster a spirit of freedom of creative expression amongst the student community and stimulate their latent literary skills.
To decide the theme for the annual magazine issues and oversee the layout, appearance and content of feature articles.
To conduct workshops and hone the creativity and writing skills of students in the domains of poetry, prose, creative writing, essays, and articles.
To supervise the imparting of artistic skills related to graphical designing, poster and collage making, artistic illustrations, sketches, photography and slogan formulation for raising socio-cultural consciousness.

To collect articles, photographs and illustrations from the students in a time bound manner and to scrutinise and improvise the submissions for publication.
To document departmental reports, photographs of toppers, outstanding achievers etc.
To ensure error-free proof-reading prior to the publication of the magazine.
To ensure overall coordination amongst students and staff members to ensure smooth publication of the magazine as per the scheduled deadlines.
