BUILDING & PURCHASE COMMITTEE

The Purchase Committee of Surendranath Law College has been established for independent review and evaluation of purchasing documentation.

To prepare and compile a list of equipment, machinery, and/or any other miscellaneous items required for the year in the college.
To invite sealed tenders quoting the rates for the supply of items from the manufacturers, suppliers and dealers.
To open the tenders in the presence of the members of the Purchase Committee and scrutinize the validity of the tenders in order to give recommendations for approval.
To supervise all the purchases made in the campus.
To ensure that all documentation is accurately completed.
To exercise quality controls and checks by ensuring that the supplies/services quoted complies with the requirements of the college.
