Library is the most integral part of academic life. Here at Surendranath Law College, one of the oldest law colleges in India, established in 1885 and affiliated to University of Calcutta, we offer our students a holistic library to imbibe research skills in future lawyers, judges and academicians. The College Library is enriched with 6104 books and 4223 peer-reviewed journals along with a rich computer laboratory with internet facilities. The College had subscription of the prestigious LexisNexis from December 10, 2019 to May 18, 2022. At present the SNLC Library provides the students individual access to e-resource such as the prestigious SCC Online subscribed and has been actively used since December 01, 2023. The College provides Remote Access to SCC Online for all students and faculty members. The books and journals are maintained using the Koha Library Software for ease of access and borrowing.
