LIBRARY COMMITTEE

The function of the Library Committee is to facilitate the library development, its usage and maintenance in the college. The Library Committee acts as a channel of communication and dialogue between the college Library and its users and oversees the overall development of the college library.

Role and Duties of the Library Committee

To coordinate with faculty, staff and students and facilitate an academic interaction that is conducive to enhance learning.
To monitor the procurement of Books, Journals, E- Resources and supervise the allocation of the budget for purchase and subscriptions.
To discuss budgetary issues for purchase, renewal, and maintenance of books, journals, databases, etc.

To ensure the effective utilization of library resources by conducting library orientation for fresh 1st Semester students.
To organize training sessions for teachers and students on library services, especially on effective usage of available resources.
To coordinate with representatives of publication houses and service providers to facilitate the procurement and effective management of library resources.
